Pittsburgh Unity Sign Project

On a trip to Buffalo over the summer, I noticed a series of signs that read, “I’m your neighbor. You’re my neighbor. Go Bills.” There were a bunch of them, with slightly different wording but essentially the same message. I was mildly put off by their borrowing from Mister Rogers, but he’s everyone’s guy, not just ours, so I let it slide. After thinking about the message behind the signs, I liked the idea of having a unity poster.

So I made one for Pittsburgh.

I wanted my sign to make a statement about the importance of putting community ahead of politics. I don't care if my neighbors consider themselves Red or Blue. They're all Black & Gold to me.
